Bean currently have a Master of Business Administration, Master of Divinity and Master of Arts, Religion & Education.

In previous years, Bean served as the lead minister for Victory for the World Church. Much of his duties were that of an Executive Pastor.

Professionally for many years Bean served as the Director Sales & Marketing for the Bermuda Department of Tourism (BDOT); the Bermuda Government. Bean was the highest ranked government administrator outside of the country of Bermuda. In that capacity, Bean was privileged to travel throughout the world representing Bermuda in an official capacity. Such official business dealings took him to cities as Buenos Aires, Rio De Janeiro, London, Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Rome, Toronto, Montreal, just to name a few.

As the founder and President of VIPDistinct, specializing in public relations, events and brand management, Bean has reached exceptional presence in the world of event planning & production, PR and branding.  Drive and initiative that has led his agency to represent an impressive client list, including reality television star Malcolm Jamal Warner, singer and radio personality Angie Stone, civil rights pioneer Evelyn G. Lowery, and playwright and performer Eve Ensler. He firms has worked with notable organizations such as the Blue-Sky Marketing Agency, YMCA, The Shepherd Center, Tyler Perry Studios, Bravo, BET, and SCLC W.O.M.E.N. Inc.

Rev. Bean has a non-profit – “I Am My Brothers’ & Sisters’ Keeper’ which is a continuation of his first support group, Araminta, named after the renown Harriet Tubman. Bean is currently on the Steering Committee for the Black Religious Roundtable which is an initiative by The Interdenominational Theological Center. The program assists Faith Based Communities, by way of funding and program development, to support and assist communities most impacted by HIV & AIDS.
